Making The Theory on Archive.org!
by TheGrandPubaa on Apr.11, 2010, under Chaotic Miscellaney, Gaming Miscellaney, Podcast, Ricky Coulter is a Death Metal Caveman!, Video Lab
In a bout of nostalgia, I have uploaded an ever-so-slightly earlier cut of Making The Theory, a documentary included with the ill-fated Video Game Theory, Volume One archive dvd(it shames me to admit that this mp4 version is actually higher quality than the final dvd version). I figured I would give it away online for free just in case someone gets curious. Eventually, whenever I can find a good way to do so, I will upload the entire archive of Video Game Theory episodes as well for the illusion of posterity.
I am not fooling myself. I know, in the grand scheme of things, this entire post is moot, minute, absolutely meaningless to the rest of the world…But it’s important to me. I want people to know where I got my start. I want people to laugh at the ridiculousness of a group of naive kids surrounding a shitty mic, talking out of their asses. For almost two years, Video Game Theory was my life. I take full responsibility for not giving the show it’s due, but I am proud of what I, what we – Dillon, Josh, and Addison – accomplished with no experience, no budget, and absolutely shite equipment. It was a tremendous learning experience.
I only wish the guys would drop by and say a few words.

Footage from the first day of shooting on my short film, “Tangled Threads”. It was a short scene, but we had a pretty interesting time.

by Snake on Mar.01, 2008, under Chaotic Miscellaney
Heya Folks I’m snake new to posting here on the site, but, not new at all to the forums

OK, here’s the news
Issue one, Me and ricky are guna give VGT a facelift and a tottally new razzy RAWR Campaign in hopes to raise money for our projects mine music his the PS3 but hopefully we can raise enough money to review stuff for you folks and give you our honest expert opinion on what’s hot and what’s not
yup with rick’s approval of course we might even merge our two sites , Frag-Artists and VGT with who know’s what uber kewl and down right groovy name
because mine was a general over all cover all computing site that was going to include gaming tips and strategies but only got to cover computing news but soon if we decide not to merge, expect FA to cover awesome stuff like computer optimization tips such as tweaking and registry hacking like for instance explaining how to get a 1.5 mbps cable connection to buzz along to a speed at least 3.5 or maybe seven at the best or how to choose the best hardware\ software setup for the tasks you do most
Yea, Lots LOTS TO COME!!!
STAY TUNED!!!
Live Support From Real People
by cheesemoo0 on Jul.16, 2007, under Chaotic Miscellaney

Qunu is seems to be a really great idea. It is free live support with whatever you are having problems with. You type in the search engine keywords and the engine searches tags set up in profiles by the Qunu ‘experts.’ The Qunu ‘expert’ rates themselves on what their level of expertise in their tag. The level ranges from beginner to guru. Anyone can be a Qunu ‘expert.’ The big plus with this is you get the answer you want now without waiting. The problem with this is that you may not get the right answer to your question. This just does not seem as reliable as I would rather ask about something Ubuntu on the official forum rather then some guy who says he knows what he is talking about. I would not use this for checking out how to change my boot sequence, but I would use it to see what the best bittorrent application is. Just use your best judgement. Just check out the qoute after the jump and see how they describe themselves. (continue reading…)

Windows only: Open source app MediaCoder is an audio and video batch transcoder designed to give you super-simple conversion to and from some of the most popular media codecs.
Among other great features, MediaCoder’s Devices tab makes converting videos for your iPod, PSP, smartphone/PDA, etc. a breeze. MediaCoder is simple to use but does a lot.
The Hellcycle Rides Again

With all of the recent comic book movie translations lately, I guess it’s only fitting that Sony is finally recognizing one of the coolest comic book “heroes” to date. That’s right, the Ghost Rider is set to hit the big screen in the summer of 2006. I’ll admit that i’m not the most well versed on the character’s legacy, however I have picked up many several tidbits over the years and, frankly, I think Ghost Rider is awesome. Let’s hope his story is retold in the best way. I would hate to see such an awesome character get a lame movie debut. I think Nic can pull off the job very well.
