Interesting faceplates. A bit flashy for my tastes. I still need to replace the faceplate on mine. The poor screen is pretty badly scuffed and scratched after over a year of being dropped, used, and thrown in my pocket. All things considered, Nokia did make one hell of a durable machine in the QD.

I really felt that the controls were better on the QD compared to the Classic, which is really why I chose it over the former. Well, that and the external MMC slot. There are so many ways the QD could have been made better, but Nokia dropped the ball a few too many times.

The QD's hardware was sucky, with the exception of the new MMC slot, that should have been included on the original. It was annoying that it didn't have a USB plug though, that was a bit of an oversight on Nokia's part, at least in my opinion.

I agree that the mp3 chip was a good idea. As far as cost is concerned, I can't see any good reason for Nokia to drop the chip from the QD's design. It would have garnered more sales, and the users would have been far happier with the hardware.

The N-Gage Classic rocked, even if it did look like a taco. Shame the QD had shitty sound, as that was one of the main uses of my classic, music!
